Wooden signboards are cut, engraved or printed timber signs that give a space a crafted, natural look. Exhibition Printing Riyadh shapes them on CNC and laser machines in its Riyadh factory for cafes, restaurants, boutiques, resorts and heritage-themed venues, and delivers and installs them across Saudi Arabia.
Grain, warmth and a surface that changes as the light moves: wood gives a sign a character no printed panel can imitate. Specialty coffee shops, farm restaurants, gift boutiques and venues built around Saudi heritage choose it for exactly that reason.
The craft happens on our machines in Riyadh. CNC routers cut letters and silhouettes and carve recessed logos; laser equipment handles fine lines, patterns and small text; and we can layer wood with acrylic or metal for contrast, or set it over LEDs for a soft evening glow. Timber types, stains and painted finishes are available on request, so a sign can be matched to tables, shelving or a stand design.
One honest caveat: wood prefers shade. Direct sun and dry heat will dry and fade untreated timber faster than you would like, so for exposed walls we recommend a protective finish or a wood-effect alternative on a tougher base. Indoors and under cover it ages gracefully with the occasional wipe. Bring a photo of the space and your logo, and the free design consultation will turn it into a working drawing.

Which wood should I choose?
Solid hardwoods such as oak or teak look rich and take engraving well. Softer woods like pine are easier on the budget but mark more easily. MDF and plywood stay flat at large sizes and paint well, though MDF is for indoors only because moisture makes it swell. Veneered boards give a real timber look across wide panels. Species availability varies, so we confirm what can be supplied on request.
Will a wooden sign cope with our climate?
Wood moves as it dries and absorbs moisture. Dry heat and strong air conditioning can open cracks, and coastal humidity can cause swelling. Keep signs out of direct sun and away from air-con vents where you can. Under shade, a good exterior oil or varnish protects it well. For fully exposed spots, consider a wood-look ACP or printed film, which gives the appearance without the movement.
How do I care for a wooden sign?
Dust it with a soft dry cloth, and clean with a barely damp one, never soaking it. Oil finishes need reapplying from time to time, and the wood will tell you when it looks dry or pale. Varnish protects well, but once it peels it needs sanding back before recoating. Look at the end grain first, since that is where moisture enters and damage starts.
