Satin Double Side Flags

In short

Satin double side flags are built from two printed faces, so a company name, crest or Arabic lettering reads the right way round from either side. The satin surface gives a soft sheen suited to signing ceremonies, award stages, government pavilions and executive floors. We produce them in Riyadh and deliver to organisations across Saudi Arabia.

Picture the photograph taken at a memorandum signing or on a conference stage. Flags stand behind the two parties, and the camera may be on either side of them. If the back of a flag showed a reversed name, that image would be unusable. A double side satin flag solves this quietly: both faces are printed, so the design is correct wherever the camera or the guest happens to be.

Satin is chosen for the setting rather than the weather. Its smooth surface reflects light softly and drapes in clean folds on an indoor pole, which is why it sits comfortably beside polished stone, timber panelling and formal furniture. Fine detail holds well, so crests, bilingual names and calligraphy keep their sharpness at close range.

Treat it as an indoor piece. The two layers and the fabric itself make it heavier and more delicate than a pole flag, and it is not meant for sun or strong wind. For an exposed site, order an outdoor flag and keep the satin version for the lobby, boardroom or stage. Floor stands, bases and finishing details are available on request, and our Riyadh team will review your artwork free of charge.

How is a double side flag built?

Two printed faces are made separately, then joined so each side reads correctly, often with a hidden lining between them to stop show-through. Because it has more layers and stitching, it hangs with more weight than a single-layer flag, which helps it sit neatly in folds. The exact build depends on your flag size and stand, so ask what is included, for example lining, edging or fringe.

How do I choose a display that does it justice?

A formal flag deserves a clean setting. Choose a floor stand that suits the room height, and allow room for the flag to drape without touching the floor. A gold or silver fringe adds a ceremonial look, though it can overpower a modern room. A flag placed behind a speaker needs a size and position that keeps the crest visible on camera. Tell us the room and we can suggest a suitable size.

How do I keep satin looking its best?

Handle with clean hands, as oils can mark the fabric. Dust gently, and arrange specialist dry cleaning if needed, rather than machine washing it. Store it rolled, or folded with soft padding, in a clean dry place. Remove light creases with a cool iron or gentle steam through a cloth, testing on a hidden spot first. Keep the flag away from bright windows, because sunlight dulls satin and fades colour over time.

All FAQs
How is it different from a mirror effect flag?

A satin double side flag reads correctly on both faces, while a mirror effect flag shows a reversed image on the back. Choose double side when text matters.

Can I use a satin double side flag outdoors?

It is best kept indoors or in sheltered areas, because satin is not designed for strong wind and sun. For exposed poles, choose an outdoor flag.

Can you supply a stand with the flag?

Stands and indoor poles are available on request. Tell us the room and flag size and we will suggest a suitable option.

Can each side carry a different design?

Yes, because the two faces are made separately. An Arabic face and an English face are a common choice for formal settings.

Can you add a gold fringe?

Fringes are available on request in a range of colours. Tell us the room and we can advise whether it will suit the setting.

How should I store the flag between events?

Roll it, or fold it with soft padding at the creases, and keep it in a clean dry place. Avoid damp stores and direct sun, which can mark satin.
