How is construction site signage made?
Hoarding graphics are UV printed on rigid panels or on vinyl that is applied to the hoarding sheets, panel by panel, so a long perimeter becomes one continuous image. Project boards start as an ACP face printed with the approved details, mounted on a steel or aluminium frame sized to the plot entrance. Safety and directional signs are printed on ACP or PVC and cut to standard shapes with CNC equipment. Everything is produced in our Riyadh factory and packed in the order it will be installed along the site.
How do I plan the hoarding design?
Walk the perimeter and note where traffic slows: junctions, the site gate, bus stops and crossings. Put the project name and contact there, and use the long straight runs for renders and brand visuals. Keep each panel readable on its own, because a passer-by sees one or two panels at a time, not the whole run. Leave the bottom metre free of important text where dust and splash collect. Reserve a clear zone near the gate for the project board and the mandatory safety signs, which must not be hidden by marketing graphics.
How long does it last and what needs maintenance?
Outdoor panels and inks are chosen to serve the build period, but a site is a harsh place: vehicles scrape panels, sand abrades the surface and phases change the message. Plan a walk-through every few months to replace torn or faded panels, and keep spare panels for the most exposed sections. Project boards should be updated when a consultant or contractor changes. At handover the hoarding comes down, so simple fixings that allow removal and reuse of frames save money at the end.
