Metal signboards are name plates, cut letters and engraved panels fabricated from stainless steel, aluminium and other metals. Exhibition Printing Riyadh produces them on laser and CNC equipment in its Riyadh factory for head offices, hotels, factories and building entrances, with delivery and installation across Saudi Arabia.
Some signs are expected to outlast the fit-out around them: the name on a head office, the plaque at a hotel entrance, the plate on a factory gate. Metal is the material for that job. It does not fade, it takes a knock without cracking, and it reads as permanent in a way painted or printed panels do not.
How we work it depends on the detail. Laser marking puts fine text, logos and serial information onto plates without cutting through. Laser and CNC cutting produce free-standing letters and logo shapes, usually in stainless steel or aluminium, in thicknesses chosen for the letter size. CNC engraving recesses lettering into a solid plate for a carved look. Brushed, mirror, painted and brass-look finishes are available on request.
Mounting is where metal shows its quality. Letters fixed on hidden studs a short distance from the wall cast a clean shadow by day and, with LEDs behind them, a halo at night. For outdoor sites in Saudi heat and dust we match the metal and finish to the exposure. Send your logo and a wall photo and we will advise on thickness, fixing and finish.

Which metal suits my sign?
Stainless steel is the usual choice for durable outdoor letters, in brushed or mirror finish. Near the sea, grade 316 resists corrosion better than the more common 304. Aluminium is light, does not rust and takes paint well, so it suits larger letters. Brass looks rich but tarnishes unless lacquered, and mild steel must be properly coated or it will rust. Tell us the look and the location, and we will confirm the suitable option.
What is the difference between laser marking, engraving and cut letters?
Laser marking changes the surface, giving fine and permanent detail on small plates, but no depth. Engraving removes metal, so text can be felt, and it can be filled with paint for contrast. Cut letters stand on their own and read from further away. As a guide, marking suits arm's length, engraving suits a doorway, and cut letters suit a wall or facade.
How do I keep metal signs looking right?
Wipe stainless steel along the grain with a soft cloth and mild detergent, and rinse off salt or dust. Avoid chlorine cleaners and steel wool, because iron traces left behind can start rust spots. Painted metal should be checked for chips, since bare edges are where corrosion begins. Mirror finishes show every mark, so brushed metal is more forgiving on walls that people may touch.

What affects the price of Metal Signboards
01
Metal and gradeStainless, brass-look and higher-grade materials cost more than painted aluminium.
02
Thickness and depthThicker sheet and deep box letters use more metal and more welding or folding.
03
MethodLaser marking is a quicker process than cutting, forming and finishing full letters.
04
Finish and fixingsPolishing, painting and standoff mounting add labour, and hard walls take longer to fix to.

Metal Signboards: common questions
Quick answers about our services, timing, artwork and delivery. Have another question? Call or WhatsApp us.
Stainless steel, aluminium and other finishes are available on request. Share your preferred look and location and we will confirm the suitable option.
Are metal signs suitable outdoors in Saudi Arabia?
Yes, when the metal and finish suit the site. We choose climate-durable options with heat, sun and dust in mind.
Can metal letters be illuminated?
Yes. Letters can be mounted off the wall with LEDs behind them to create a halo glow after dark.
Will my metal sign rust?
Stainless steel and aluminium resist rust well when correctly chosen and finished. Coastal air is harsher, so tell us if your site is near the sea.
Can you cut fine Arabic calligraphy in metal?
Yes, within limits. Very thin strokes and tight joins may need slight thickening so that the letters stay strong and fix securely.
Can metal letters be fixed to a stone wall?
Yes. Letters are usually drilled in on pins or standoffs. Share a photo of the wall, because the stone type affects the method used.
