Acrylic Signboards

In short

Acrylic signboards are logos, letters and panels cut from acrylic sheet, polished at the edges and mounted flat or raised. Exhibition Printing Riyadh laser and CNC cuts them in Riyadh for clinics, offices, boutiques and exhibition stands that want a clean, glossy finish, and installs them across Saudi Arabia.

Acrylic sheet has two qualities that signmakers value: it cuts to a crisp edge and it polishes to a glass-like gloss. Those two things explain why so many logos on reception walls, clinic doors and exhibition stands are made from it.

Three decisions shape your order. Thickness: thinner sheet suits flat printed panels, thicker sheet gives raised letters a solid, dimensional edge. Colour: sheets come in solid colours, frosted and mirror finishes, and we can UV print full-colour artwork directly onto clear or white panels. Mounting: letters can sit flush on the wall, stand off on hidden pins for a shadow effect, or be fixed to an ACP backing with LEDs behind them for night use.

Indoors, acrylic keeps its gloss for years with nothing more than a wipe. Outdoors it works too, provided the grade and fixing suit the sun exposure, so tell us where the sign will live. Our laser and CNC machines in Riyadh handle the cutting, and the same artwork can be repeated for a stand at a show, a head office and every branch. Design help is free; installation is available on request.

How are acrylic signs made?

Sheets are cut by laser or CNC router to follow your artwork, then assembled as flat panels, raised letters or stacked layers. Laser cutting leaves a glossy edge on cast acrylic, which suits clear and premium pieces. Colour comes from the sheet itself, from vinyl, or from UV printing on the face or reverse. Printing on the back of clear acrylic gives depth and protects the image from scratches.

What thickness and fixing should I choose?

Small door plates can be thin, while wall logos look more solid in thicker sheet because the edge catches the light. Standoff fixings hold a panel away from the wall and give a shadow gap, which suits receptions. Glue or pin-mounted letters sit closer and look cleaner on smooth walls. Thin sheet can bow in a large panel, so bigger pieces need more thickness or a backing.

How long does acrylic last and how do I care for it?

Indoors, a good sheet keeps its look for a long time if cleaned gently. Outdoors, vinyl and printed colours usually fade first, so ask for UV-resistant materials on sunny walls. Wipe with mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid dry dusting and alcohol or ammonia cleaners, because dust scratches the surface and solvents can cause fine cracks.

What to send us

  • Vector logo with fonts converted to outlines.

All FAQs
Can acrylic signboards be used outdoors?

Yes, with the right build for the location. We review sun exposure and mounting, then recommend a suitable material and fixing method.

Can you make raised acrylic letters?

Yes. We cut raised letters and logos to your artwork and can add layers for extra depth.

Should I choose acrylic or ACP?

Choose acrylic for a refined finish viewed up close, and ACP for larger facades viewed from a distance. Many shopfronts combine the two.

Will acrylic turn yellow in the sun?

Good quality sheet resists yellowing well, and printed or vinyl layers are usually the first to fade. We advise on UV-resistant options if the sign faces direct sun.

Can you match my exact brand colour?

We can get close using coloured sheet, vinyl or paint, depending on the shade. Send a Pantone code and we will confirm the nearest option.

Can a scratched acrylic sign be fixed?

Light scratches can often be polished out, though deep ones usually mean replacing that piece. Since we cut in-house, a single letter or panel can usually be remade.
